Lab lesson
My lesson was executed for 8thstandard the
lesson was chemical effects of electric current .The passage
of an electric current through a conducting solution causes chemical reaction. That may cause
formation of bubbles of a gas on the electrodes,deposits metal on electrodes,
changes of color of solutions etc
The topic for the lab lesson was
heating effect of electric current. I have provided students with all the
apparatus required for the experiment. The aim of the experiment is to check
whether the bulb gets heated after passing the current. Wires, bulb, battery, insulating
tapes etc were the various requirements needed for the experiment was provided
to student .Different electrical appliances like dryer electric iron were
showed to students. I had given them the
demonstrations of the experiments .And told them to perform, worksheets were
provided. Charts were made to explain the concept. Procedure of the experiment
was provided in chart format.
